Chilkoot Pass Climb

On June 3rd, Kaylas 6th grade class got to do a reenactment of the Chilkoot Pass Climb during the gold rush. They had to carry 10 milk jugs full of sand towards the top of this mountain. Travis and Theran went to help out and he said that he was surprised at just how tough a climb it was. The kids could pick somebody to work with and Kayla and Emma Nathan decided to work together. After they finished hauling the 20 milk jugs (10 a piece) they got to "stake their claim" on that land. Kayla said it was alot of work but really fun! Theran LOVED helping emptying the sand out of the milk jugs afterwords!
