My Grandma Alder...What an absolutely amazing woman! She celebrated her 90th birthday April 11th and we celebrated with a big birthday bash. There were children, sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and even neighbors that came to help celebrate. It was wonderful to catch up with so many people I haven't seen in a really long time. My dad and his brothers Darwin and Gary even sang a few songs for her. Emmie also played a couple of her piano songs. What a treasure my grandma is, couldn't love her more. What an amazing example she is to us all. 90 years old, living on her own and for the most part sharp as a knife! She always jokes that she's just waiting for grandpa to come and take her home. What a reunion that will be, but for now we are so grateful to have her here with us!
