Over spring break we decided to do a quick little trip to Casper to visit a few spots and learn more about the pioneers. We first stopped at Martins Cove which was so amazing. We had been reading and talking about the Martin & Willie handcart company on our way and the spirit really touched all our hearts. We had a sweet lady give us a tour. We also got to do a small little loop pulling the handcart to get a small idea of what it was like. We also each got a ring made out of the nails they use for horseshoes. We then ventured on to Casper where we enjoyed some pool time at the hotel and yummy food. Another great place we visited was the Historical Trails Museum. It was very educational and interactive, we all loved it. We had a nice little get away, we learned and experienced a lot.
