We wanted to so something memorable yet fairly inexpensive before school started back up so we all decided to have a "Pick Your Activity...Family Day". We each got to pick an activity that we wanted to do and we would spend the day together doing those things. First, dad picked a bike ride so we rode our bikes on the green belt, hit up the bike park then headed to Scott's Bottom where we found some awesome lean-to's. From there we rode our bikes to the rec center where Emmie chose to go swimming. We spent about an hour in the pool then hopped on our bikes and headed home. When we got home Dylan really wanted to go shoot guns so we loaded up the truck and headed to the gun range. Emmie tried out her new 243 that grandpa Jon gave her and she's ready and pumped for hunting season. After that we went home and got cleaned up then I chose to go out for dinner (yay, I didn't have to cook). After dinner Theran decided that he wanted to go see a movie at the theatre. Great relaxing way to end our amazing day. As Trav and I talked about it, we realized that nothing strengthens a family more than just some good quality TIME. LOVE YOU ALL!
