Another great hunting season. Trav, me, my dad and uncle Gary spent a couple days up the Hoback. We didn't have any success but we sure made some great memories. We got chased by moose even had one within 30 ft of us, saw bears and even heard elk do an alarm bark right in our camp. That's not to mention all the yummy "elk camp food" dad always makes. We really eat like kings (or queens) when we go. Sure treasure these hunting trips.
Emmie did have a successful hunting season getting her antelope. We went for a drive found the antelope she wanted so her and Trav hopped out of the truck while the boys and I took the truck and drove down the rode a little ways so we didn't spook it. Em and Trav got set up and SUCCESS. 2 years in a row Emmie filled her tag. She was a little sad this year to see the antelope go down and may have shed a tear or two. We are proud of her and the tender-hearted young lady she is.
