The BIG 8

Emmie had a special birthday this year. She turned eight on Saturday the 4th and was able to be baptized that day also. She got a new bike, baby doll, ears pierced (pics to come) and lots of other great things. Aiden even got to come and celebrate his 5th birthday with Em since his was the day before hers. It worked out great since all our family was there for this special day!

The baptism was amazing, it was stake baptisms so there were 4 other kids (including her friend Paxton Castillon) being baptized too. Em was soooo excited for this day, she had been counting down for weeks. She looked like an angel and my heart was so full of joy and pride in the great girl that she is. I am so thankful to be her mom and pray that she will use that priceless gift of the holy ghost throughout her life. Congrats Emmie!
