For my dads birthday we (us girls) decided to surprise him and take him camping up Hams Fork by Kemmerer, just like we used to do when we were young. Cliff put together an amazing poem that informed him that a gift would arrive on the 10th of July. He said he had no idea that we would be his surprise. He figured it would be something in the mail. So we showed up with everything ready and off we went. It was so, so, so fun! We fished the river the first day. My dad dragged us through some crazy willows to find it, haha. A funny thing: Kim had a fish on but suddenly realized it must have got off when all the sudden we see this fish swirling and twirling around in the water and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. My dad said that it probably had "whirling disease". Kim kept saying that she had some part of the fish on her line and when she reeled it in we realized she had snagged the fishes eye and yanked it completely out. Hence the crazy fish in the water, it was pretty wild. The next day we fished from dads boat on Lake Viva Naughton, and none of us got skunked. We had the absolute best time, lots of laughter. My dad has thanked us over and over again telling us just how very much it meant to him and that we should do it every year! Love ya tons dad, you are the man!!!!
