My dad and his band "Spare Parts" were asked to play under the big top at the Lincoln County Fair. What a great time we had listening to him. It brought back such great memories from when I was younger and he played with his band "Wyoming Thunder" at the fairs. He was quite the star... He opened for some big names: Hal Ketchum, Ty Herndon and even Chris Ledoux. Very talented man he is. What has always amazed us all is that he plays by ear. He plays the piano, guitar and sings (best voice around if you ask me) and does it all by ear. I remember going to funerals and weddings with my dad because he was asked to sing. The kids had a great time dancing to their grandpas music too.
